On the first day of Eid al-Adha, 27 May 2026, our field partner ATAA Humanitarian Relief Association carried out six qurbani sacrifices on behalf of Giving Relief donors in the UK.
The meat was weighed and packed the same morning. Then our team walked through the camp and handed it over, tent by tent, to around 200 families. For a family living in a tent, a bag of fresh meat on Eid morning means a proper Eid meal, cooked and shared like everyone else’s.
Every sacrifice was filmed and photographed with the donor’s name, and that record was sent to each donor. A qurbani given in the UK reached a family’s door, and the donor could see that it did.
What you give remains.
Give where it’s needed most now
